The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs - "(i) Issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for challenging the order dated 05.02.2018 passed in Memo No. 11 in Supply Abhilekh No. 05 of 2017 order passed by respondent no. 4 (the S.D.O. Pakaridayal, Motihari) the P.D.S. License of the petitioner has been cancelled without any reason behind the petitioner and no any show cause has been filed upon the petitioner till today. (ii) Issuance a writ including other relief/reliefs that the petitioner may be found to be entitled to in the facts and circumstances of this present writ application."

3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has already approached the District Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari against the impugned order but however not in the prescribed format of appeal.
4. Learned counsel for the respondents appears and has been heard.
5. Having regard to the nature of the grievance of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari with an appeal in proper format for redressal of his grievances.
6. It is made clear that in case such an appeal is filed, the concerned authority would have regard to the present proceeding being pursued by the petitioner, while considering any issue relating to condonation of delay, if applicable.
