The present petition has been filed for grant of regular bail on behalf of the petitioner in connection with Giriyak (Katrisarai) P.S. Case No. 211 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections Sections 419, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioner is that when the Police Force was on patrolling duty, they had apprehended the petitioner, upon receiving confidential information, and had recovered certain documents wherein the names of customers of Home Shopping Company were mentioned and the Police Party suspected that the petitioner would indulge in duping

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even if the FIR is taken on its face value, no offence is made out qua the petitioner, hence the entire prosecution of the petitioner is baseless. It is submitted that there is no allegation, as against the petitioner, of having duped any of the customers of their money. The petitioner is stated to be languishing in custody since 16.06.2019.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the present case, this Court deems it fit and proper to grant regular bail to the petitioner, above named, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-I, Nalanda, Biharsharif in connection with Giriyak (Katrisarai) P.S.
