In spite of being pointed out that the court is not inclined to direct the release of the above named petitioner on bail, the counsel stressed upon the Section 436(6) Cr.P.C. There are many reasons for which the trial could not be concluded in 60 days. The number of cases has swelled by many times as officers of the State machinery are to perform other duties than those which is required in connection with the prosecution of a case. The police officers who are the main agency of production of witnesses are engaged in multiple activities, like, the law and order situation, the very very important persons security and such other matters. Prosecution of a case has to await production of witnesses.
