Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 498A, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Petitioner is said to be husband of the informant and it would appear from perusal of the first information report that petitioner and informant were on litigating term since long. The informant claims that on the alleged date of occurrence, petitioner along with two persons came by a car and started assaulting her and in that course caused grievous injury on her head. The claim of the informant is prima facie supported by Annexure-6 to the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24961 of 2016 (3) dt.22-06-2016 2/2 petition, which is injury report of informant. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail and hence, his prayer for bail in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 764 of 2015 pending in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna stands rejected.
