JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 02-05-2023 The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present case is to direct the District Magistrate, Banka to dispose off the pending application of the petitioner filed for grant of arms license on 29.09.2019.

The learned counsel for the respondentState submits that in case the aforesaid application of the petitioner is still pending, the same shall be disposed off within a stipulated time frame.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper

Patna High Court CWJC No.12432 of 2022(2) dt.02-05-2023 2/2 to direct the District Magistrate, Banka to dispose off the aforesaid application of the petitioner, filed for grant of arms license, in case the same has not already been disposed off, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
