2. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:- "That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ or writs, order or direction to the respondent authorities to pay the salary of the petitioner w.e.f. 01.01.2020 upto till date with 18% interest and further direction may be issued to the District Provident Fund Officer, Muzaffarpur to reopen his P.F.

account no. and start deduction of provident fund amount in his provident

Patna High Court CWJC No.3982 of 2021 dt.13-04-2022 2/2 fund account bearing P.F. number mfp/Pol.

5005 by issuing an appropriate order or direction."

3. Learned counsel for State on instruction and with reference to para 15 and 16 of the counter affidavit stated that official respondents are considering the grievance of the petitioner.

4. In the light of above facts and circumstances, official respondents are hereby directed to redress the grievance of the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order.

5. For no reasons petitioner's salary has been withheld. Therefore, he is entitled to interest on belated settlement of arrears of salary @ 6% per annum. The same shall be calculated and disbursed to the petitioner.

6. With the above observations, the present petition stands disposed of.
