2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Jehanabad Town P.S. Case No. 718 of 2023, dated 01.08.2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A and 304B read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the sister of the informant was subjected to abuse and assault by the co-accused persons for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. It is further alleged that on 01.08.2023, the informant received an information that the dead body of his sister has been found in
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50362 of 2025(3) dt.03-11-2025 2/3 hanging condition and when he reached there, the dead body of his sister was found which was then sent for post-mortem.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The allegation levelled against the petitioner is false and fabricated and the petitioner has not committed such offence as alleged in the FIR. There is no specific allegation of assault or demand of dowry, rather there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. Charge has been framed against the three co-accused persons including the petitioner on 18.03.2024. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in paragraph no. 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 13.06.2024.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as petitioner's period of custody, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District Judge-VII, Jehanabad, in connection with Jehanabad Town P.S. Case No. 718 of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50362 of 2025(3) dt.03-11-2025 3/3 2023, on further condition:
(i) The petitioner is directed to remain physically present before the learned trial Court on each and every date, failing which on two consecutive dates without reasonable cause, the bail bond of the petitioner is liable to be cancelled.
