The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Shikarpur PS case no. 66 of 2019 instituted for the offence punishable under Section 304B/34 of Indian Penal Code. The allegation is regarding the victim girl having been killed by the accused persons for want of fulfilment of the demand of dowry.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is father-in-law of the victim deceased lady and he is living separately since division has taken place by meats and bounds in between the petitioner and his son. It is further submitted that if any complicity is attributable to anyone, it may be the husband of the deceased lady but the father-in-law cannot be

It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 18.02.2019 and he is having a clean antecedent. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the abovenamed petitioner is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah in connection with Shikarpur PS case no. 66 of 2019.
