2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Bakhtiyarpur GRPS P.S. Case No. 70 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per allegation, on a secret information, informant along with other police party reached the place of occurrence and apprehended the petitioner. On search, total 112.420 liters of illicit foreign liquor was recovered from the trolley bag of the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52915 of 2024(2) dt.05-08-2024 2/2 this case. He is a person of clean antecedent. Nothing has been recovered from his conscious possession and his name has figured merely on the basis of suspicion. He is under custody since 25.05.2024.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to furnish bail bond after two months from today and on doing so, the court below shall release the petitioner on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge Excise, 3rd, Patna in connection with Bakhtiyarpur GRPS P.S. Case No. 70 of 2024, (i.e. Rail Bakhtiyarpur P.S. Case No. 70 of 2024), subject to the following condition:- (i) The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
