The petitioner has been in custody since 07.10.2014 in Tisiauta P.S.Case No. 15/2014 registered for offences under sections 457, 380 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that though the petitioner was not apprehended at the place of occurrence and nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner, the name of the petitioner has surfaced on the basis of confessional statement of the co-accused before the police.

Considering the aforementioned submissions and that there is no evidentiary value of such statement, let the petitioner Munshi

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9296 of 2015 (2) dt.10-04-2015 2/2 Rai be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Tisiauta P.
