The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 109 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 13(2) read with Section 13(1) (e) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

A supplementary affidavit has been filed by the petitioner annexing the order sheet which has been served upon the counsel for the CBI just before this case was taken up.

As per learned counsel for the CBI charge has already been framed and three witnesses have already been examined.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32717 of 2016 (7) dt.17-10-2016 Petitioner is in jail since 29.3.2016. In the present case charge has already been framed and trial has also proceeded. In such view of the matter, let petitioner, Hansraj Singh, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, CBI-III, Patna in connection with Special Case No.01 of 2014, arising out of RC 27A of 2013, subject to the condition that petitioner and his wife will always co-operate with the trial for early disposal of the case and did not adopt delaying tactics to drag the trial. If they would adopt the delaying tactics prosecuting agency will be at liberty to move for cancellation of bail.
