Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 25 (I-b) a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act.

One country made loaded pistol is said to have been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner for which petitioner is in jail custody since 17.11.2015. So far as criminal antecedent of the petitioner is concerned, para 3 of the petition reveals that he has been made accused in six cases but submission on behalf of the petitioner is that cases shown at serial nos. i and iii at para 3 are of the same occurrence whereas petitioner was remanded in rest cases on the basis of confessional statement of co- accused.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties and also taking note of the period of

No.23350 of 2016 (3) dt.12-07-2016 detention of the petitioner in jail custody, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub divisional Judicial Magistrate, Araria in Jokihat P.S.
