The petitioners seek bail in a case registered under sections 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of Witch Craft Act.

Mahesh Manjhi named eleven persons and disclosed that they all entered into his house and took his mother. On the next day the dead body of his mother was found. The first information report was lodged after recovery of the dead body. On similar fact one of the co-accused namely Laxman Manjhi has been granted bail vide order passed in Cri. Misc. No. 2914 of 2014. The petitioners are also named in the first information

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5984 of 2015 (2) dt.12-02-2015 2/2 report but no specific allegation is made against the petitioners. Considering the aforesaid facts and the fact that case of the petitioners stands on the same footing as that of Laxman Manjhi who has already been enlarged on bail, the above named petitioners are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate Gaya in Chandauti P.S. Case No. 288 of 2013.
