JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 07-08-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends arrest in Complaint Case No. 73 of 2006 instituted for the offence under Sections-379/ 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

As per allegation the petitioner has committed physical and mental torture with his wife (complainant). He has performed second marriage with Habiya Khatoon.

Therefore, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender in the court below and seek regular bail which shall be disposed off by the court below in accordance with law without being prejudiced by this order.
