The petitioner, by way of the present writ application, has prayed for unutilized leave encashment of 300 days on the scale of Reader inasmuch as according to the petitioner, he has completed more than five years' service as a Reader prior to the cut of date, i.e. 01.01.1996, as per Annexure-2 and accordingly he is entitled for payment on the scale of Reader at Rs. 14,940/-, pursuant to Annexure 3.

Learned Counsel for the University submits that the

Patna High Court CWJC No.3587 of 2021(2) dt.12-08-2021 2/2 petitioner may file a detailed representation in this regard, which shall be disposed by the Registrar, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, within a reasonable time. After having heard learned Counsel for the parties, the petitioner is directed to file a detail representation, raising all his claim, before the Registrar, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, within a period of one month from today and if such a representation is filed before the Registrar, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga within the aforesaid period, the Registrar, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, shall dispose of the same in accordance with law by a speaking order within a period of two months from the date of filing of such representation.

Needless to say if any amount is found payable to the petitioner, the same shall be paid to him within a period of one month from the date of disposal of the representation. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
