JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-02-2018 The present application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed by the petitioner for quashing the order dated 29.02.2016 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Patna in Patliputra P.S. Case No.309 of 2015 by which the learned Magistrate has taken cognizance of the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code as well as Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Mr. Neeraj Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of the present application charges have already been framed and trial has commenced. In that view of the matter, the application is dismissed as infructuous.
