2. The petitioners seek bail in connection with Bodhgaya P.S. Case No. 762 of 2025, instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 80, 123 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. The prosecution case, in short, is that daughter of the informant has been done to death by her husband and inlaws for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in the present case. Charge-sheet has been submitted in this case. Learned counsel for the petitioners also submits that the petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46290 of 2026(2) dt.16-07-2026 2/2 No specific allegation has been attributed against the petitioners rather the same is general and omnibus in nature. It is next submitted that the petitioners are separate in mess and business from the husband of the deceased. It is further submitted that husband of the deceased has been granted regular bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 11.0.5.2026 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 30311 of 2026. The petitioners are in custody since 16.04.2026 and have got one criminal antecedent.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioners.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and taking into account the period of custody undergone by the petitioners, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

7. Let the petitioners be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Bodhgaya P.S. Case No. 762 of 2025.
