Patna High Court CWJC No.23640 of 2012(4) dt.03-01-2019 2/2 ORAL ORDER 03-01-2019 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State. The learned counsel for the respondent referring to the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent No.5 submits that the petitioner has already been granted promotion in the Grade-II post with effect from 17.04.2007 and the necessary sanction order for grant of differential amount of pay has also been issued vide memo dated 23.02.2013.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the aforesaid position, however, seeks a direction upon the respondents that in case the monetary benefits have not been paid, the same to be paid within a stipulated time frame. Having regard to the submissions made by learned counsel for the respondent, the present writ petition is disposed of as having become infructuous, however, with a direction to the concerned respondent to pay consequential benefits within a period of twelve weeks from today, in case the same has not already been paid.
