JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 25-06-2018 This Writ Application has been preferred for a direction to the respondent authorities to consider the application of the petitioner seeking his release on parole under proper and suitable security arrangement from 23.06.2018 to 28.06.2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the marriage of the younger sister of the petitioner is fixed on 27.06.2018. It is further claimed that the father and the mother of the petitioner have died earlier and this petitioner being the elder brother has to perform Kanyadan in that marriage and has to manage and look after the whole and entire function successfully.

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.1509 of 2018 (2) dt.25-06-2018 2/2 Learned counsel for the State is present and submits that presently he has no instructions in the matter. On perusal of the Writ Application this Court finds that this petitioner has got a chequered history inasmuch as 24 cases are pending against him, out of which in three cases he is said to be on bail. The Writ Application lacks in details and only a vague statement has been made that the petitioner has filed applications for the same relief to the Chief Secretary, the Home Secretary, the I.G. Prison, Bihar, Patna. Neither copy of the applications has been brought on record nor has the mode of despatch of such applications been mentioned in the Writ Application. Given the fact that the marriage of the younger sister of the petitioner is fixed only day-after-tomorrow this Court is not persuaded to issue any direction on the vague kind of pleadings of the petitioner.

The Writ Application has no merit. It is accordingly dismissed.
