1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.
2. A prayer for bail has been made on behalf of the petitioner in connection with Muzaffarpur Town P.S. Case no.605 of 2024 registered under sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The allegation in the F.I.R. is that the petitioner, who was an empanelled valuer of the concerned bank, manipulated the valuation process for the purpose of obtaining loan sanction, thereby causing wrongful loss to the bank.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was empanelled with complainant's bank for
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48086 of 2025(4) dt.28-11-2025 2/3 valuation of the gold and nothing substantial has transpired in course of investigation. The petitioner cannot be said to be a beneficiary of the alleged conspiracy and is languishing in custody since 05.04.2025 and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case.
5. The application for anticipatory bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State on the ground that petitioner is involved in 25 cases with similar allegations. In response, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is on bail in 23 cases and a co-ordinate Bench of this Court has also granted him bail vide order dated 15.11.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 51449 of 2025.

Taking into consideration the above mentioned facts of the case and also considering the fact that petitioner is in custody since 05.04.2025 and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case coupled with the fact that no useful purpose is served by further detaining the petitioner merely on the basis of his alleged criminal antecedents, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Muzaffarpur Town P.S. Case no.605 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court concerned where the case is
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48086 of 2025(4) dt.28-11-2025 3/3 pending/Successor Court.
7. However, it is directed that the petitioner would cooperate in the trial and make himself physically present in the court on each and every date and in the event of failure on two consecutive dates without sufficient reasons, his bail bonds shall be liable to be cancelled by the learned court concerned.
