1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.i. For setting aside the final result published on 23.08.2021 under the signature of working secretary, Bihar Legislative Council pursuant to Advertisement No.07 of 2019 for appointment on Class-IV post in Council Secretariat as the same has not been published after following the reservation policy of the Govt. under the Backward Class Category and other reserve category.

ii. For direction to the respondents to publish the result afresh after following the reservation policy of the State Govt. under different category including

Patna High Court CWJC No.17259 of 2021(2) dt.28-02-2024 2/2 Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Backward Category."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Secretary, Bihar Legislative Council, Patna, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
