The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Of course, the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. but Sunny Sinha disclosed that it was the petitioner who fired repeatedly hitting the palm and abdomen of the victim. The injuries are grievous in nature. The petitioner is in jail since 16.09.2014.

Having considered the fact that the petitioner made repeated firing, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in Katihar (Sahayak) P.S. Case No. 560 of 2014 (G.R. No. 2843/2014). Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected at this

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8456 of 2015 (3) dt.07-09-2015 2/2 stage.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within six months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order. If the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.

The order may be sent to the learned court below through FAX at the cost of the petitioner.
