2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offence under Sections 498A,323, 341, 342, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. Allegation against petitioner is of matrimonial cruelty and demand of dowry.

4. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner is husband of the opposite party no. 2 and he denies the prosecution case. Neither petitioner demanded any dowry nor committed torture to opposite party no. 2. Petitioner has got clean antecedent and is in custody since 11.12.2023.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Katihar in connection with Mahila P.S.
