For the Petitioner :

Mr. Ajay Kumar Jain For the Respondent State:

Mr. Prabhat Kumar Singh, AC to AAG-15 For the BSEB :

Mr. Girjesh Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 13-09-2018 The petitioner seeks direction to the respondent Bihar School Examination Board to re-evaluate his answer-books of Intermediate compartmental examination, particularly of Chemistry subject.

The petitioner has secured 01 out of 35 in the said subject. It does not appear from the pleadings on record that the petitioner has applied for scrutiny as provided under the Regulations of the Bihar School Examination Board after payment of requisite fee. This is also not in dispute that there is no provision for re-evaluation of the answer-books of Intermediate examination.

In my view, the relief, which the petitioner is seeking, cannot be granted. The petitioner will, however, be at liberty to

Patna High Court CWJC No.18370 of 2018(2) dt.13-09-2018 2/2 apply for scrutiny of his answer-book in accordance with the statutory provisions.

The writ application stands disposed of.
