JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 12-12-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends arrest in Khaira P.S. Case No. 208 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Sections-307, 379 & other minor sections of the Indian Penal Code.

There is specific allegation against this petitioner of assaulting the informant by Tangi on the head, on which, the informant became unconscious. The injury report has been annexed as Annexure2 wherein the doctor has found injury Nos. 1 & 2 to be grievous in nature caused by sharp cut weapons.

In such circumstances, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected.
