JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 17-10-2017 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Alauli PS Case No. 253 of 2017 registered under Sections 406 and 420 of the IPC.

The allegation in brief is that the PACS, of which the petitioner is the Chairman, paddy was provided for milling purpose and the rice required to be deposited with the State Food Corporation, Khagaria, but even after expiry of the period rice worth Rs. 17,89,425/- was not deposited and it is alleged that the rice of that amount was misappropriated. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to deposit the rice or the money in six months.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49920 of 2017 (2) dt.17-10-2017 Having considered the said facts and circumstances and the nature of the offence, the prayer of anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
