2. The petitioner, a retired Panchayat Raj Officer, has approached this Court for a direction to the authorities to give him 2nd ACP to which he is entitled.

3. It has been submitted that the petitioner joined his service as Panchayat Sevak in the district of Muzaffarpur in the year 1984 and in the year 1996, he

Patna High Court CWJC No.13756 of 2019 dt.11-07-2019 2/2 was given the benefit of 1st ACP. The 2nd ACP which was due to the petitioner was never paid to him.

4. The petitioner has filed several representations for grant of 2nd ACP to which he is entitled before several authorities including the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur but those have not yielded any result.

5. The petitioner, under the aforesaid circumstances, is directed to make a detailed representation before the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur (respondent no. 3) within a period of four weeks, who, on receipt of the same shall verify the facts and pass/caused to be passed necessary order in accordance with law within a further period of eight weeks thereafter.

6. With the aforesaid direction/observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
