Petitioner seeks bail in Salkhua P.S.Case No. 147 of 2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 342, 302, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

As per prosecution case, ten F.I.R named accused person, including this petitioner armed with deadly weapons surrounded father-in-law and brother-in-law( Dewar) of the informant and thereafter co-accused Ranveer shot fire on the head of the father-in-law and co-accused Santosh fired on his eyes and co-accused Manoj fired on his neck and hand as a result of which father-in-law died on the spot. It is further

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60946 of 2021(2) dt.11-02-2022 2/2 alleged that co-accused Vijay Sharma inflicted knief blow on the throat of father-in-law of the informant.

Petitioner is alleged to have inflicted knife blow on the throat of the father-in-law of the informant. However, doctor has not found sharp cut injury on the neck of father-in-law of the informant. Cause of death is firearm injuries caused on skull and chest. Investigation is complete.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as period of detention of the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate IV, Saharsa in connection with Salkhua P.S. Case No. 147 of 2020.
