2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Mehus P. S. Case No. 25/2023 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 342, 325, 307, 327/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, this petitioner along with co-accused Pinku Singh armed with iron rod and khanti assaulted informant and others due to which they sustained several injuries.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a free fight took place between the parties due to the land dispute in which both sides sustained injuries. Case and counter case.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52436 of 2024(2) dt.30-08-2024 2/2 Instant case has been lodged after inordinate delay of four days and there is no explanation for the same. He further submits that out of three injuries, one injury is grievous in nature. Petitioner is in custody since 09.05.2024. Charge-sheet has already been submitted.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the bail application.

6. Considering the period of custody and delay in lodging the F.I.R., the bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Sheikhpura in connection with Mehus P. S. Case No. 25 of 2023.
