The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 302 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant named 13 persons including the petitioner Rajendra Goswami and alleged that they all having armed with different weapons surrounded his son Virendra Yadav. Amlesh Yadav fired which hit on the right side of the neck of Virendra Yadav. The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted Vilash Yadav with Dabia, a sharp-edged weapon, but from perusal of the injury report it would appear that Vilash Yadav got two lacerated wounds on his leg but the injuries are simple in nature. The petitioner is not the assailant of the deceased Virendra Yadav. Similarly situated co-accused Sarun Yadav Bibhuti Yadav and others have already been enlarged on bail.
