JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 02/ 18-06-2018 Heard Mr. Mani Bhushan Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Ram Anurag Singh, learned counsel for Union of India and Mr. Dhurendra Kumar, learned AC to GP-5. The present Writ application has been filed for a direction to Respondent no. 4, District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 12.12.2015 submitted for varying of his arms licence valid for the State of Bihar to whole of India.

Patna High Court CWJC No.4657 of 2018 (2) dt.18-06-2018 It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that initially the petitioner applied for grant of pistol licence in 2007 which was kept pending for a long period. Subsequently, the licence was granted to the petitioner in 2013. The petitioner made an application on 12.12.2015 for varying the terms of licence for extending its validity to whole of India, but the same was kept pending, as a result petitioner preferred C.W.J.C. No. 2291 of 2014. The same was disposed of vide order dated 24.11.2015 by a Bench of this Court, as contained in Annexure-4 with liberty to the petitioner to submit an application before the competent authority, who shall consider the same in accordance with law. Consequently, the petitioner again on 12.12.

2015 submitted an application but till date the same is also pending. Hence, the present writ application. Learned counsel for the State and Union of India submit that, at present, they have no instruction but the application of the petitioner will be disposed of within a time frame. In the circumstances, it is expected from Respondent no.
