The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Baligaon P.S. Case no. 55 of 2018, registered under Sections 304(B) and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is that the marriage of daughter of informant was performed with Santosh Paswan, son of the petitioner Pawan Paswan, but after the marriage she was being tortured due to non-fulfillment of demand of cash of Rs. One Lakh as dowry. On 14.09.2018, informant received information to the effect that her daughter has been killed by her husband and other in-laws due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and her dead body has been disposed of.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45447 of 2019(6) dt.16-11-2019 2/2 fact, daughter of the informant died due to suffering from high fever and her dead body was disposed, but with ulterior motive the informant lodged the present case. Further submission is that petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased and he used to reside separate from his son Santosh Paswan, husband of deceased. Further submission is that Santosh Paswan, husband of the deceased, is in custody.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the provisional anticipatory bail granted to the above named petitioner vide order dated 23.07.2019 in connection with Baligaon P.S. Case No. 55 of 2018 is, hereby, confirmed.
