The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 512 of 2017 [Special Case No. 08 of 2017 (R.C. Case No. 16A of 2017], registered under Sections 409, 420, 468, 471 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 13(2), 13(1) (c) and 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Further submission is that the petitioner is neither private employee nor Government employee of the Welfare Department, Bhagalpur, Govt. of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48488 of 2019(3) dt.20-11-2019 2/2 Bihar, she is only a housewife. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State submits that from the perusal of case diary, it appears that there is sufficient material against the petitioner regarding involvement in this case.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this application is rejected.
