2. The petitioner has approached this Court for the following reliefs:- (i) For issuing direction upon the respondent authorities to conclude the investigating within a reasonable period as the investigation in the case continues to remain pending without any material progress for almost a year in connection with Saraiya P.S. Case No.384 of 2023, registered for the offences under Sections 304B and 34 of the IPC.

WJC No.1381 of 2024(2) dt.01-05-2025 2/2 (ii) For commanding the Investigating Officer as also the supervising authorities to take needful coercive action against the accused persons who are still evading arrest and absconding in the case despite execution of processes under Sections 73, 82 and 83 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in the month of October, 2023.

3. The prayer of the petitioner is that the process under Section 82 and 83 of Cr.PC. has been issued against the accused persons of Saraiya P.S. Case No.384 of 2023, but the process has been executed mechanically and the police is taking any interest in the arrest of the accused persons. They are roaming freely in the local area.

4. Accordingly, this application is disposed of with a direction to the S.S.P., Muzaffarpur, to ensure the arrest of the accused persons within one month as their anticipatory bail applications have been rejected long back and the attachment has also been done.
