The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Nautan P.S. Case No. 118 of 2024 dated 13.03.2024, registered under Sections 365 and 366 of the Indian Penal Code and the charge-sheet has been submitted under sections 302, 201, 120B, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner along with husband of the deceased and others have participated in the killing of the deceased. Materials including self-inculpatory statement of the co-accused has come which supports the accusation against the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

The petitioner has been made accused on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Tuna Alam. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 18.03.2024. 5.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that petitioner has actively participated in the killing of the deceased, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the application for regular bail of the petitioner is dismissed.
