The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.917 of 2016 registered under Sections 498(A) and 379 of the Indian Penal Code besides Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The accusation is of torturing the complainant/opposite party no.2 by her husband and other in-laws for non fulfillment of the dowry demand and to remove her from the matrimonial house by snatching her personal belongings.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51402 of 2017 (2) dt.01-11-2017 2/2 petitioners are father-in-law and brother-in-law of the complainant/opposite party no.2 respectively. In fact, the father of the complainant/opposite party no.2 has no male issue and has only daughters, due to that reason, the complainant/opposite party no.2 tried to put pressure upon her husband to live at her parental house but he did not become ready and the complainant/opposite party no.2 lodged this false case.

Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender by them within six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Aurangabad (Bihar), in connection with Complaint Case No.917 of 2016, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
