The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Jalalgarh P. S. Case No. 96 of 2020, dated 12.07.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 304(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioners are the parents-in-law of the deceased.

It has been alleged in the F.I.R. by the father of the deceased that she has been done to death on account of dowry dispute.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1260 of 2021(2) dt.02-07-2021 2/3 The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the deceased married the son of the petitioners of her choice. The petitioners did not have any say in the life and affairs of the deceased or her husband. The petitioners were also informed later that when the deceased was taken to the hospital for treatment, he was caught by the informant and handed over to the concerned police station.

Regard being had to the afore-stated facts and taking into account the general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners as also that the husband of the deceased is in custody, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea, in connection with Jalalgarh P. S. Case No. 96 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down

The application stands allowed.
