The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Khagaria P.S. Case No.757 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 120(B), 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner and his wife are said to have come at the house of the informant and said that they are agent of Prayag Info Tech Hi-Rise Limited at Khagaria and induced him to deposit money in the said company. After maturity, when the informant went to the house of the accused persons, they started abusing the informant and threatened to kill him. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47763 of 2022(2) dt.06-12-2022 2/2 present case. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail application. It is further submitted that the wife of the petitioner has already been granted anticipatory bail by the learned court below itself. Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.
Considering the fact that petitioner is the main conspirator in the present case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) Sanjay/- U T
