2. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Begusarai Town P.S. Case No. 636 of 2022 for the offence under Sections 384, 387, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got one criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 06.06.2023. He further submits that petitioner is aged about 75 years and he cannot be involved in a crime at this age.

4. The petitioner is said to have demanded extortion money and has assaulted the victim. Petitioner is aged about 75 years and he is in custody since 06.06.2023.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts and considering the age of the petitioner, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
