The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 832-C/2013 for the offences punishable under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

The complainant's case, in brief, is that she married the petitioner on 19-7-2011 and she was ousted from her matrimonial home, and there is an allegation of demand of dowry and torture. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is the husband. It has been further brought to the notice of this Court that in the year 2013 two cases for the offence punishable under section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code were instituted-one is Nautan(Jagdishpur) P.S. Case No. 177/13 and the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16419 of 2015 (2) dt.10-06-2015 2 / 2 other is the present Complaint Case No. 832-C/2013. It is further brought to the notice of the Court that in the police case, which was instituted for the same offence, the petitioner has been granted bail by this Court-vide order dated 214-2015 in Cr.Misc.No. 8340 of 2015. It is further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 4-3-2015.

On behalf of the State it has been submitted that the petitioner is named as accused in the Complaint case filed by the complainant.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner Lal Mohamad Ansari be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Complaint Case No. 832-C/2013.
