Petitioner seeks bail in Ballia P.S. Case No.378 of 2014 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 20, 22 and 24 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

Prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order 14.5.2015 passed in Cr. Misc. No.9522 of 2015. Dr. Amrendra Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in jail custody since 19.10.2014, but the charge has not been framed. Since commercial quantity of Ganja was recovered from possession of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The same is rejected in connection

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4079 of 2016 (2) dt.18-05-2016 2/2 with Ballia P.S. Case No.378 of 2014 pending in the court of Additional Sessions Judge-I cum Special Judge, Begusarai.
