Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Patahi P.S. Case No. 199 of 2018 registered for the offence under Sections 304(B) and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 09.05.2022 and the petitioner is the husband of the decease and the decease was killed for demand of dowry.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

In view of the aforesaid fact, this Court is not

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48339 of 2022(8) dt.22-05-2023 2/2 inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.

The District Judge, East Champaran, Motihari is directed to expedite the trial of all the cases pending against the petitioner.
