JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 12-01-2018 The petitioner seeks direction to the respondents to permit him to appear in the physical test for the post of Sub Inspector, going to be held on 16.01.2018, which has now been modified to 19.01.2018.

The aforesaid relief has been claimed on account of his roll number not finding place in the notice of the office of Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna, dated 17.12.2017. I find from the aforesaid notice dated 17.12.2017 that in the said notice it has been directed that such candidates, whose roll number do not find place in the list mentioned in the said notice, shall submit their representation before the Bihar Staff Selection Commission with information to the police headquarters, Bihar, as well as to the Regional Selection Board so that their grievances can be redressed.

The petitioner has not filed any representation in

Patna High Court CWJC No.639 of 2018 (2) dt.12-01-2018 2/2 terms of the aforesaid notice dated 17.12.2017 and has directly come to this Court, hence the writ petition does not seem to be maintainable.

However, in the interest of justice, I direct that the petitioner shall file a requisite representation before the requisite authorities today (12.01.2018) itself and in case the representation is filed, the same shall be considered by the appropriate authorities and disposed of by 16.01.2018 with due communication to the petitioner so that in case he is found eligible, he can participate in the physical test, to be held on 19.01.2018.

The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid terms.
