In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Darauli P.S. Case No. 150 of 2014 registered for the offence under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation has been made that the marriage of the victim was solemnized with the petitioner in the year 2012 and the petitioner and his family members were always demanding the dowry and they have killed the victim. Police have found some mark in the neck. It appears from the case diary that the ligature mark in the neck of the deceased was found which suggests that the victim was killed by

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8195 of 2016 (3) dt.21-04-2016 2/2 strangulation.

In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, the court below is directed to expedite the trial.
