JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 04-02-2015 This is the third attempt by the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with Sessions Trial No.990 of 2013 arising out of Naya Ram Nagar P.S. Case No.184 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under sections 25(1-A), 25(1-AA), 25(1B)(a)(c), 26(i)(ii)(iii) and 35 of the Arms Act. Earlier both the petitions for bail were rejected by this Court on merit. It has been contended that though the petitioner is in custody since 25th September, 2013 but till date only three out of six witnesses have been examined in course of trial. Be that as it may, for the reasons assigned in the order dated 10th October, 2014 passed in Cr. Misc. No.33043 of 2014, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present. Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.874 of 2015 (2) dt.04-02-2015 2/2 directed to conclude the trial of the petitioner as early as possible preferably within nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order failing which the petitioner would be at liberty to renew her prayer for bail in the court below itself. In that eventuality, the court below shall be obliged to pass a reasoned order stating therein as to why the trial of the petitioner could not be completed within the stipulated period of nine months.
