JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 27-11-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs - "(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the letter dated 10.07.2013 issued by the Respondent no. 4 and contained in his letter no. 6511 dated 10.07.2013, whereby and where under he has submitted his report to the Respondent no.2 in compliance of his letter no. 576 dated 04.03.2013 and had granted clean chit about the allegations made by the Vice Chairman of the Nagar Panchayat against large scale irregularities with respect to sale of Bid of Quantity in response to the tender notice dated 12.05.2013.
(ii) For issuance of an appropriate wit in the nature of Mandamus, commanding and directing the Respondent no.6 to issue a fresh tender notice in respect of the works which
Patna High Court CWJC No.14198 of 2013 dt.27-11-2018 2/2 was the subject matter of the notice inviting tender dated 12.05.2013 and to get it finalized maintaining transparency in the process, so that maximum number of tenderers may have the occasion to file their tender and the Nagar Panchayat would have an option to settle the work with lowest tenderers and save the public money.
(iii) For issuance of any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions for which the writ petitioners would be found entitled under the facts and circumstances of the case."
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the matter has become infructuous by efflux of time and the writ petition need not be pressed.
