The petitioner seeks bail in Complaint Case No. 76 of 2007, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The complainant made allegation of demand of dowry and torture against the petitioner and the petitioner submits that the informant is an accused in murder of the mother of the petitioner. In the aforesaid case, charges have already been framed against the informant under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is in jail since 11.11.2014. The petitioner has already remained in jail for more than two months.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2437 of 2015 (2) dt.20-01-2015 Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Nawada in connection with Complaint Case No. 76 of 2007.
