The petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 41/2014 for offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 302, 504, 354(C) of the Indian Penal Code. As per allegation made in the First Information Report, the petitioner caught hold the victim and other accused person, namely, Bhim Singh pierced knife in the chest of the victim. Looking to the entire fact and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, namely, Gajendra Singh is rejected.
The court below i.e. the court of Sub Divisional Judicial
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6224 of 2016 (2) dt.26-02-2016 Magisrate, Masaurhi at Patna is directed to conclude the trial of the petitioner within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
If the trial of the petitioner is not concluded within the aforementioned period of one year, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail before this Court. (Shivaji Pandey, J) Rishi/- U T
