The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Brahmpur P.S. Case No. 297 of 2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) and 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 20.07.2021, is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that allegation is of recovery of 320 litres of liquor from the vehicle as detailed in the F.I.R.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 20.07.2021, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and the petitioner is a person with clean antecedent, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Buxar in connection with Brahmpur P.S.
