The petitioner is languishing in custody since 8.1.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner and co accused Bonod Yadav are the assailants of the victim.

Hence, this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner in connection with S.T. No. 168 of 2014 arising out of Katihar (Sahayak) P.S. Case No. 20 of 2014. This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
